PWD 3rd Art Festival held =====================

 

ADDIS ABABA –THE ETHIOPIAN HERALD Newspaper 24 April 2016: The Ethiopian National Culture Center in collaboration with the Federation of Persons With Disabilities held culture and art festival for the 3rd time with the theme “Including persons with disability in art as part of development” here yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Center Executive Director Elfinesh Haile said that the inclusion of persons with disability in all sectors is vital for national development and it is an opportunity for persons with disability(PWD) to showcase their capabilities.
To acknowledge their effort and also promote the festival year after year and raise participants number governmental, non-governmental organizations and other stake holders are expected to work together, she said.

Federation President Paulos Kassu said on his part that persons with disability have their own talents and capability to do anything and such event paves the way for other to participate.
He also underscored the need for organizing similar events at state level to deepen awareness across the country.
