Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Turkey, Ayalew Gobeze, who attended the meeting said Turkey gives due attention to fostering its longstanding relationship with Ethiopia.

“We have excellent relationship with Turkey economically and politically”, the ambassador reiterated.

There are about 150 Turkish companies operating in the manufacturing, infrastructural development and agricultural sectors, Ambassador Ayalew said.

“We consider Turkey our good development partner”, he added.

Ethiopia still needs Turkish businesspersons to invest in the country and “we are working hard to bring influential investors interested in especially establishing factories in the newly full developed industrial parks,” he underlined.

Turkish Minister Nihat Zeybekci said on his part the delegation had very successful business forum in Addis Ababa which attracted Ethiopian and Turkish investors.
