Ministers of Government Communication Affairs Office and Water, Irrigation and Electricity; and President of Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations signed the agreements with their Zambian counterparts.
The agreements are believed to strengthen and synergy the mutual benefit of both countries besides exchanging experiences.
The concluded agreements are amongst the 10 agreements that are expected to be signed by the newly established Joint Commission.
Minister of Government Communication Affairs Office, Dr. Negeri Lencho told ENA that the agreements will have a key role for the exchange of experience and building capacity between both countries.
He also added that technical committee, in which its members will be drawn from both countries will be established to monitor the implementation of the agreements.
Regarding the agreement on information exchange, Dr. Negeri noted that it would enable media institutions in the two countries have joint plan and work in collaboration.
Accordingly, the media in the both countries are expected to feed the other with regional information.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the visiting Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and Zambia’s President Edgar Lungu.
