Ethio-Djibouti railway line officially inaugurated ======

The Ethio- Djibouti railway line built at a cost of 3.4 billion US dollars is officially inaugurated today. The railway line covers 752kms.

The heads of government of the two nations, Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and President Ismail Omar Guelleh, and Chinese President envoy attended the inauguration ceremony.

 

Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn on the occasion said the project will transform the relation of the three countries to an advanced level.

He also said the railway line will have great contribution to Ethiopia’s industrialization process.
