“If Anadolu Agency keeps its momentum, the Turkish people will be able to know more about Ethiopia,” he said.
“We will cooperate with you,” the minister said, adding that different media institutions in Ethiopia would help the agency.
He said that the government and people of Ethiopia perceived Turkey very positively.
Tigli, for his part, said: “Anadolu Agency will introduce Ethiopia to the world as our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has given due importance to Africa.”
“The Agency operates in 12 languages worldwide and it has many subscribers across the globe. Currently, we have three desks in Ethiopia — Arabic, English and Turkish desks — and we are planning to open a French desk,” Tigli added.
