Africa’s biggest resort to be constructed near Al Nejashi Mosque in Tigray

The biggest Resort in Africa is to see light near the historical tourism site of Al Nejashi Mosque in Tigray State at a cost of 150 Million USD.

The resort is to be built in a joint venture by a local company called Aklog General Trading and a Nigerian Billionaire Dr. Wanle Akinboboye.

Though Al Nejashi Mosque is a well known and ancient religious site in Ethiopia and in the world at large, the site did not get the attention it deserves.

The State of Tigray and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism have been striving to change the situation in recent years.

Wanle Akinboboye has called on Africans to fully harness the abundant resources the continent is endowed with.

Upon completion, the Resort is expected to give tourists the opportunity to visit Africa’s first mosque, Al Najashi and other UNESCO registered sites in Tigray state.
