President Mulatu Holds Talks with His Estonian Counterpart

President Mulatu Teshome and President Kersti Kaljulaid of  Estonia  have discussed  today about bilateral and multilateral issues.

The two sides have agreed to cooperate in ICT development as Estonia has registered high growth in ICT development.

President Mulatu  briefed the Estonian President on the occasion about Ethiopia’s effort in securing peace in Somalia and South Sudan.

He stated that his country needs support from the European Union (EU).

Moreover, Ethiopia has the desire to expand investment, trade and tourism with Estonia.

Estonian President Kaljulaid on her part said her country wants to strengthen bilateral relations of the two countries.

She pledged to support Ethiopia in building capacity in ICT.

As current chair of the EU, Estonia will provide assistance for Ethiopia’s efforts in bringing peace and stability in Eastern African region and African in general.
